About Us
Diapers might be the last place someone would look to for fashion.  That is unless they have taken a look at the designs now being offered by Blueberry Diapers.  Margarita McClure, the pioneering mother behind Blueberry Diapers, is bringing fun fashion to little bottoms everywhere.  What started out as a goal to change diapering options for conscious mothers has grown into a full scale company that is not only making diapering safer and healthier for babies but turning little tushes into the talk of the town.

“Shouldn’t diapers be as cute as the babies that are wearing them?”   That was the question that led Margarita to design her new line of fashion-forward Blueberry Diapers.  With diapers being such a large part of a baby’s daily wear, they should delight the eye as well as comfort baby’s bottom.  The ease, convenience and fashionable look of Blueberry Diapers have caught the attention of mothers all across the country and around the world.  So much so that she can hardly keep up with the demand.

More and more moms and dads are disposing of their reliance on disposable diapers and changing to reusable cloth diapers for many reasons.   Ecology, economy and safety are high among them.

Changing diapers to cloth reusable can save the average family as much as $2,500 over the course of their child’s diapering years.  Health issues are equally as important when it comes to disposables.  Their liners contain sodium polyacrylate, the same substance that was removed from tampons in 1985.   It is still present in disposable diapers and that can be a serious health issue when you consider that these diapers are in contact with a baby’s sensitive skin all day and all night.

The environment also suffers from contact with disposable diapers.  27.4 billion are used and discarded each year.   They make up the third largest source of solid waste in landfills and can take up to 500 years to decompose.

Having addressed all those issues with the creation of her parent company Swaddlebees, including the use of organic cotton in the diapers, Margarita turned her designer’s eye to making her cloth diapers full of fun and whimsy.

Blueberry diapers come in a wide range of exciting upbeat colors and patterns.  They even come in chic animal prints like zebra, cheetah and pink Dalmatian.    All in all, there are over 32 designer colors and prints to choose from.   That’s one diaper design for every day of the month!
