To qualify for a wholesale account, you must meet the following requirements:
1.
You must have an established business, either online or brick &
mortar store, or both. Validity of your business will be checked. Online store startups are not accepted at this time.
2. You must be prepared to show average store volume.
3.
There will be high minimum order requirements for diaper products. We will offer
drop-shipping but on a very very limited basis and should not be used
as your main source of stock. Quarterly minimum volumes must be
maintained.
4. Most orders will need to be placed via purchase order
form. Because of the high cost and the long process of manufacturing
the minky diapers, we cannot realistically keep wholesale quantities of
these in stock at all times. There may be a 4-6 week lead-time on
orders, so you must be able to plan your stock needs ahead of time.
5.
If you are planning on selling our diapers, you must have extensive knowledge of cloth diapers, washing techniques,
care & use. You must know how to troubleshoot common
cloth-diapering problems.
6. You must be able to handle all customer
returns/product defect issues & replacements by yourself. Unless
there is a specific issue that is wide-spread on certain batches of our
products (i.e. more than 5 in 3 months), you will be required to
replace any defective merchandise yourself and absorb any loss as the
cost of doing business.
Our
goal is not to be able to get as many retailers as possible selling our
products. We are looking for highly qualified retailers that are
interested in promoting our brand, and not just adding it to their long
list of competing brands offering similar products.
WHOLESALE INFORMATION
The
following information outlines our Polices, Terms and Conditions for
our retailers. Retailers and potential retailers must read and
understand these policies
ORDERING & LEAD TIMES ON ORDERS
Orders
must be placed via the supplied Purchase Order form. Lead times for
most orders may take 4-8 weeks, especially if it contains minky
products. Most non-Minky products can be shipped within 2-4 weeks. We
generally plan our production for the following month during the first
2 weeks of the month, so we recommend sending your orders no later than
the 15th of each month to get your orders as fast as possible. Drop
ship orders may be placed through the website, but must be limited to
at the most 5 per month. Online auctioning of new Blueberry products is
not permitted. Co-op sales are not allowed.
Payment in full is required prior to shipment of your orders.
MINIMUM ORDER REQUIREMENTS
For non-diapering products, there is a minimum opening order of 10 units per item.
For
diapering products, there is a minimum opening order of $2,000, and
subsequent orders have a minimum of $500. A quarterly volume of $2,000
must be maintained to keep your wholesale account active.
SHIPPING & DROP-SHIPPING
All
domestic orders will be shipped via UPS or USPS unless other
arrangements are made. Most international orders will be shipped via
Global Express Mail or via freight. All packages are assigned with
tracking numbers.
We
offer drop-shipping at no additional charge other than the shipping
charges calculated in the shopping cart of the website. Tracking
numbers will be sent to the retailer. If you need any order expedited,
please contact us directly to make arrangements.
MINIMUM PRICING
We
have specified minimum retail prices on our price list. Please note
that while retailers are free to set their own retail prices, we
reserve the right not to sell our products to retailers that are
selling below our minimum retail price guidelines. Any form of
discounting on the products must be approved.
CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE
In
order to best serve our customers, we require that all retailers have
experience in using cloth diapers and be knowledgeable about all the
products you choose to sell from our line. You will be supplied User
Guides with each order that you may pass on to your customers. Unless
products were purchased directly from us, any customer inquiry about
product usage will be redirected back to the store it was purchased
from.
RETURNS, EXCHANGES & WARRANTY ISSUES
All
products are guaranteed against snap or manufacturing defects for 90
days from the date of purchase. This covers stitching, seams, snaps,
hook & loop, and elastic. All retailers are expected to handle all
returns, exchange and warranty issues on their own. Should a customer
experience any problems with our products from manufacturing
irregularities, you are expected to replace the product for them from
your own stock. We will only replace all the items returned to you for
manufacturing defects only if you experience more than 5 of them over a
period of 3 months. Please do not send your customers to contact us
about items purchased from your store. We will not replace items
purchased from retailers unless there is a known widespread problem on
the products.
